Anyone else heading to Winston for Jan cow tag?
« on: December 29, 2013, 09:20:17 AM »
Just wondering if anyone else is heading there.  We will be staying in the SilverCove resort out of Toutle.  If anyone wants to stoop by and B.S we will be down there on new years eve.   Good Luck to the folks who pulled the tag.
If you are going to do it do right the first time.

I have a hunting partner with that tag. With the lack of snow this year, should be able to get anywhere in this unit.

I hope so, just as long a WEYCO keeps the gate open every one should do just fine.

I wouldn't risk shooting one and winding up with bad meat, it does happen.

Extremely rare! We've ate a bunch them. If you do get one with bad meat you can have your tag revalidated.

I Have a buddy that's been up there the last 3 days and he hasn't  seen anything. Heard a few shots but hasn't seen anything being hauled out.
With 150 tags given out,  I'm surprised more members here weren't drawn.
