Hunting GPS Maps on Google Earth.

Yes if you use the garmin basecamp software.  Its like google earth.  You can do all that I think.  You can scout and create a route/track and put it on gps overlayed with birdseye sat. image.  Really neat, I havent got to deep into it.  I mark a few p.o.i and get the sat. images and go!

I dont like basecamp like I do google earth. Plus Id have to pay an additional 30$ just to have any view of the land.

What I did was to buy birdseye for 1 year and download the sat. images of my areas I might go, then didnt renew it.  Basecamp didnt cost me money-i think it came with gps unit at purchase for download?  I dont remember.  I use google earth before basecamp to play around but when Im ready I go to basecamp and plan.  Garmin and google dont seem compatible!
