Great job!! Was that around Woodland? If so that gives me hope that coyotes actually can be called around here.

Hey fatty! haha love the name. It was up by Yale lake. I have called in a lot all over clark and cowlitz counties. The last several years have been much harder. I think more folks are doing it and educating the coyotes. I know I have educated a few myself that got away. The key I have found that helps is to try and find those pin hole little areas that no one really hunts or that no one thinks to call coyotes. Almost every time I try a new place I get one to come in right away. After that it gets harder. This was the first time I hunted the spot where he got it.

Yeah I think you're right about educated coyotes and then with all the trees you can't see them even if they do come in. You should take me out sometime and teach me how to get them. :)

Very nice. Any details on the call you use, ammo and choke? Love to get after those things up in king county.
