deer hunting Malad, ID

has anyone hunted around this area before?  Ive been around that area multiple times but have never hunted it.  Was wondering if its any good, I love the country (steep, big, high desert).  Or should i look else where.  Thanks for the info.  Just starting to do some planning and pre scouting.

I've done it a couple times with no real success. It was a few years back though.  We've had much better success in Montana.  There are some huge non-typicals in that area, but not many deer.
