First set of the year!!
« on: January 04, 2014, 07:52:02 PM »
Well this buck eluded me and I gave up on him December 11. He came in on the 12 at. 5 pm. By 11:30 pm he had both antlers but left for a cud break at 2:30. He came back packing one antler :yike:. Then by 6:30 am they were both gone.  :yike: . By the 14 all his nocturnal tendencies were gone. And he was in all day, and again on the 15th. If I had known that I would have shot him and mounted his sheds!! He has given me grief for 3 years. I believe him to be 7.5 years old.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

Great buck, nice find
KCCO

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
