anyone one hear anything for the ne corner in or around springdale area, i was there last weekand but didnt have any luck came across lots of does but no bucks, are they in rut yet, im going there again friday night and hopeing to get some tips , this is my first time hunting for white tail, any one hear anything about that area

This is a good area to hunt. If you are finding does you WILL find bucks, esp the last weekend of the late season. Try a grunt call and try rattling them in, scents work as well . Find a good trail with good sign and be prepared to sit and wait them out.

i put some scents out last weekand when i was there, my buddy owns a cabin on 10 acres there so i put them out on his propertey didnt see anything , i keep hearing the last weekand is better , hopefully , thanks for the info

now with a grunt call how often do you need to grunt, this will be my first time using one , i do have one though i bought a couple months ago

Yep.  I rattled in three yesterday up north.

what area??? also i never used the rattling yet how many rattles and do you do on a reapeated basis

Yeah, 30 seconds-ish then sit still.  Wait 15 mins to an hour then repeat or move is what has worked for me. The first was a small 3pt about 15 mins after daybreak.  He just appeared behind a tree about 40 yards in front of me.  Then a forkie came up the skidder road from my left about 3 mins later.  The last was another forkie about 2 p.m. a few miles away.  All 3 on public land somewhere between Spokane and Colville.  I passed on all three but next week it'll be any buck.

They are chasing seeing lots of bucks chasing, nothing huge, big boys will be out this weekend,things should be in full swing by the weekend.

This weekend is the best weekend of rifle season.  the rut will be peaking in a week or so.
