first bobcat over 30lbs

got him last Monday, found a cat kill and figured it was a cougar. left it alone for an hour and came back to find this beauty! saw another predator hunter on my way out and he had an electronic scale he weighed out at 32.5lbs :IBCOOL:

That is a huge fat cat. I've got one at the taxi that weighted in at 25 lbs and I thought it was big. Well done!

my wife freaked when I told her I was going to mount it, she goes why? I said bobs this size are rare. mines at ceder river taxidermy right now

I got him in Snoqualmie Hancock forest. my weapon of choice was a terrible choice but shot placement worked out. wish I had something smaller but the 30-06 with a 165 grain did the job with a minor entrance and exit. the cat is at cedar river taxidermy in Cumberland and Im doing a life size mount.
