Ok, a follow up report. Left the house at 0400, ate breakfast at republic, 0600. Drove down through the San Poil and up over Manila Creek road. The road to Swawilla basin scared the p wata out of me so didn't take it. Looked like a solid sheet of ice and went down at about a 10 Deg angle. Would of had no problem making it down but with a 2 wheel drive would not of made it back up. Headed down to Grand Coulee, since i had heard Rufus wasn't doing all that well i went to the north side of the dam and up above the log boom to the boat ramp. Now the rest gets embarrassing. Had 8 bites, landed one. (blush) They where biting well but the hooking didn't go well.
