Surprised myself today
« on: January 26, 2014, 12:08:21 AM »
Decided to float the river today haha. Shortly after starting i explained to my friends little boy  that if he heard any geese to let us know. 10 seconds later around a bend in the river, Honking! I turned around in time to see 5 geese taking off the gravel bar on the far side at 30 yards. First shot was a double. Then second shot bird#3 and the last shot I got my limit. Haha to say the least I was excited, my friend was shocked at my shooting and his son was mostly excited that he got his face painted but it was fun to get him out!

Awesome shoot!!! Great to show the yungins what can happen while out in the field!!!!
A few years back my partner & I dropped 5 lesser in one session & 1/2 hour later we dropped 3 Canadas within an hour of first light, magic moments
If I killed every thing I shot at, I'd be Phat!!!
