Beaver Tail
« on: January 30, 2014, 02:27:29 PM »
Spring bear is right around the corner and I was hoping to get a beaver tail to add to a bait sight. Any Spokane area trappers have a tail they might be willing to part with?

Thanks

When I use beaver on a bait, the tail is one of the last things they take.  First bite is always on the castor sack then the rest of the beaver and finally the tail.  If I was back there I would give you one of the carcasses in the freezer, sorry, I know that's no help.  Good luck this spring.

I'm thinking he means Idaho.  Since he's already planning on hunting before Washington's draw results are out and Spokane is a few miles from the border  :twocents:

I will be hunting in Idaho, but glad to see the Internet police are out this evening, I feel much safer.

Thanks for the offer Fred, this spring is all about revenge from last fall. Haha!
