Elk near Spokane?
« on: November 15, 2008, 07:36:44 PM »
So I have been searching for elk near Spokane and have not come across much. The only heard that I have found is on private property but there is a nice 5x5 in the group. I have not checked out anything up north yet near Elk (Jay), but was wondering if anyone else had spotted elk around Spokane?

There has been some controversy about these sort of posts or help.  If you happen to be the one thats hunting that spot already, it gets rather personaly and frustrating.  YET, its nice to help another member.  I think the consensus is if you get real specific, send it in a pm and then just put a note on here pm sent.  Really there is nothing wrong with what you did.  Just ruffles feathers.

Agreed PM is the way to go.   I know some that would bust you in the mouth for this.   Gotta respect a quality spot. This ain't how to do it.

POA is correct that there is some great elk country in there.......but, not too many can understand how thick and dark some of that timber is. that area has places where the sun will never hit the ground and if it rains for a month straight the ground will still be powder dry, it's that thick. there is only opportunity for the guy who is gonna bust his arse.

BTW, i am in the PM camp too.

locked...another useless thread.
