I was listening to Lars yesterday on the radio. For those of you who didn't catch his program he had a guest on there who was describing Barack Obama's attempt when he was in the Senate to get a bill passed through Congress which included a ban on all shotguns 20G and above; including single shot shotguns! It also banned any rifle which accepted magazines which includes bolt guns, semi autos and pumps...better get your handi rifles sighted in
. The bill also created a Federal mandate which banned All previously issued concealed carry permits in every state and banned future issues to be given! And of course my favorite was that ANY pistol higher than a .22 caliber would be banned and anything which carried more than one bullet at a time...Yeah single shot .22's! HEADS UP GUYS IT'S COMING. I believe Mr. Larson regarding this he's always been a straight shooter; no pun intended. I have nothing personally against our President elect and I will support him as our leader however I will never surrender my family's protection like the Canadians have been forced to do.

Thats just great......................
If Canadian style gun control was attempted in the US there would be a full scale rebellion and a serious reduction in the number politicians who supported it

...A man on a saddle with rifle and revolver symbolized the West in both nations. Canada's character was the government Mountie, and America's the independent cowboy. Indeed, The Lone Ranger would have been an outlaw in Canada, since 19th century law forbade carrying a firearm while "masked or disguised." Toronto Professor John Hagan contrasts the Mountie with another American symbol, the eagle, "a fiercely independent animal prone to outbursts of violence."
Symbols such as Mounties, cowboys, and eagles reflect and create social reality. So do constitutions. Professor Friedland contrasts the American Constitution, with its right to keep and bear arms, and the Canadian constitution, which simply provides for "peace, order and good government," and signifies obedience to authority.
In short, Canadians have faith in government power in a way that Americans do not. Their gun laws are merely one aspect of the Canadian system of relying on the government to take care of everyone's welfare -- in contrast to the American system, where many citizens distrust government power, and insist that they possess the means to protect themselves...

I recently received an email from a woman I've known for nearly 30 years. She is one of the Cubans that fled Cuba in the early 1960s with her brothers, sisters and parents. Here is her take on the political arena in the USA today. I might add here you CAN NOT find a more loyal and patriotic family that this family.
This is the first thing Fidel did in Cuba when he took power. Gun control was the beginning of the end. He would even ask children in schools to let them know if there parents had any guns and did not want to turn them in. They would tell the kids to let them know so that they could convince their parents. After all Cuba was free and guns were not necessary anymore. Sound familiar? maybe I am a little paranoid but I have heard all of this before.

Im not sure how many people will stand up for our right to bear arms, look at the people that voted for him, most of them blind to what his beliefs are and the way he votes.A large number who are hunters and outdoorsmen and women, also voted for bho.the majority of blacks voted for him because hes black. And I believe the rest was just a vote against bush.We will all find out that bush was a great president, history will prove this.I can only hope the kool-aid runs out before to much damage is done.I wll stand behind him, standing in front of him could be dangerous!

The sheeple of America will bow to gun control...
Most think the second amendment had every thing to do with hunting...
It doesn't have any thing to do with hunting; it was designed by our founding fathers as a means for controlling government
So, when guns are gone, government will have full control and the sheeple will wonder what happened to the rest of their freedoms, blaming some one... Every one... but not looking at themselves as the base culprit to these losses
