Boxing up a bear rug?
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:23:20 PM »
So i have a bear rug that I need to do something with.  I just sold my house and haven't found a new one that I want to buy, so I am moving to an apartment for the mean time.  Don't really want to put the bear rug up in the apartment because I hope I find a house soon and want to live minimally at the apartment.  My question is will it damage or put creases in the rug if I roll it up and put it into a large box and put it into storage?  If it will, I am going to have to find a wall to hang it on.  Thanks

Yes it will more than likely put creases in it.  It depends on how and what it was constructed out of.  The creases should go away if you hang it up or lay it flat a few weeks.  Can't tell you 100% unless I saw it.
