They say the weather is going to be good. Fir Island has had a lot of Snow Geese and Eagles. If you go there, get to the Rawlins Road (near the Bridge that heads to Hiway 20 and La Conner) and walk the dike. You may see snow geese, American Bitterns, Short Eared Owls, Harriers, Golden Eagles.

Samish Island has had some great Bald Eagle, Golden Eagles, Harriers, Red Tails and Blue Heron activity. I think we will be out on Fir Island this weekend. My wife wants to catch some Short Eared Owls with her camera.
