Got my first 2 trail cams
« on: February 24, 2014, 01:03:27 PM »
I finally got a couple of cams to play with. I got the Wildgame Innovations Razor 6. They were on sale at Cabela's for 79 bucks each, marked down from 139. They are pretty nice and easy to use. The guy at Cabela's was very helpful, he has used many cams including these. He said they are a decent cam especially for the price. I was looking at a more expensive cam but he said he would rather have 2 of these than 1 of the other. I can't wait to get them out and get some pics!
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Now you gotta get some boxes for them. I'd suggest once you have them to color 'em up. I used some basic silicone and a caulk gun to texture then paint. Makes them blend a little better. Can't wait to see some critters.

You got a good deal--I have 2 Wildgame cameras.  The older one uses C-size batteries, and battery life is dismal.  My newer camera uses AA batteries and seems to be a lot better.  I left the camera out, And won't go back to get it until the snow melts.  That might be a while--it's been snowing all day here, but melting as it hits.  Bet it's sticking where my camera is!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I have them out in the yard now, I just want to see how they work. I should have pics of birdies and our dog tomorrow.
