Between Cheney and Sprague there are a lot of elk that run around when they get pushed out of Turnbull. It is mostly private property though so you will need to start knocking on doors.

Yeah I lived there for a few years and most of the folks are pretty tight with the elk permission.  I'm looking for lincoln county area. thanks

I have seen some elk in the telford wildlife area it is in harrington unit. off telford road. by where the fire was over the summer. might try there.

I heard the same thing but closer to swanson lake.  I've thought of trying there
