Looking for a hunting Mentor/Partner in or near island county
« on: February 25, 2014, 04:57:09 PM »
Hello everyone! :hello: im kinda new to hunting in washington

Currently stationed on Whidbey, went hunting on island since breakfast(this year) restarting after a 7 year drought of no hunting  :bash: . i know some of the regs. im just looking for someone who isnt "busy" and can show me the ropes around washington.. i am pretty interested in coyote and tasty rabbit until deer and elk season come back. im pretty safety minded and look out for others so any help would be great!

Thanks Everyone!!!

welcome to hunt wa

You  might want to clarify what you are looking for.  What I would do is make some comments on hunt-wa so that people can get to know a little bit about you.  lots of good people on here.

Do you want to hunt on whidby or expand to other areas? eastern wa or western

For deer/elk are you talking archery, muzzle or modern

and probably some other questions I cant think of right now.
It is what you meant it to be...

My brother lives up on Whidbey. He hunts coyotes all the time. Also hunts Deer with muzzle loader, and very avid duck hunter. I'm sure he'd be happy to work with a guy. If you want pm me your contact info and I can get you in touch with him.
