Great glass, IMO I wouldn't use that big a pair of binos without a tripod.

What size/model are you running right now? Would this be a step up in glass size?

I have 10x32s that have an apparent FOV that many 42mm bins have. They are a bit shaky. I haven't used 12x's myself but I would consider the advice about the monopod or tripod. I don't see much use for 12x. I love my 10s and might day pick up a 15x56 pair of Swaros or Kaibab's but 12 seems lost in the middle. Too short for regular binos and not long enough to replace the spotter.

I would absolutely make that trade. The binos will hold their value a lot better than the bow. If in doubt you can probably trade back after some time.

My bino's I run Swaro 10x42 slc's and overall, they are not that shaky...utilizing a tripod with any binoculars can help with fatigue.....I will be using my Swaro's and a Vortex Razor 65mm spotter this year, pretty excited about the combo! I take attachments so that I can use both bino's and spotter with the tri-pod.    I've never really had a use for anything over the 10x42's bino wise)....but I've always carried my spotter..  :twocents:

i have 10x42 razor hd binos, and wish they had 12x50s when I bought them... my last pair was 12x50 so that is what I was used to.
they are great binos!i would probably make that trade if I were you. provided you have another bow.
