« on: March 10, 2014, 09:09:29 PM »
My dad got a 270 win a while back an he was wonder what its worth. Its a 270 win, Winchester 70 action, 26" barrel built by Arnold Arms. Have any ideas?

Arnold arms turned out some nice, accurate guns prior to his bankruptcy. Doug is a great guy and a good friend. He built many rifles on his Apolla action, as well as on Ruger, Remington, and Winchester actions, along with his own line of proprietary calibers. Value is in the accuracy and desire for an Arnold rifle...

I remember these guys and heard good stuff about them. Years ago ran into a guy packing one in the woods and said he had worked for them. You should take it out to see how it shoots and base the value on the performance.

overall condition and pictures would also help in determining a value.

I'll have to pull it out and take some photos.

I havent seen this rifle on any of the Arnold models listed.
