Loved this shoot today my best shot of the day was a 40 yard dead center shot up hill on a wolf on course C

Nice shot.
The X ring on a wolf should be the entire body and XX on a gut shot.

I believe that's unnecessary if you can't hit vitals on any animal put the bow down and pick up a shot gun

I think you're missing the point... if you gut shoot a wolf, they run away and die, instead of dying on the spot.  that way you can eliminate one of the 3 'S's.

Pretty sure it was a tongue in cheek type joke. No need to get excited.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

That was one of the best run shoots I've been to in the NW in a long time!
I dunno if any of you checked scores at the end of it all but Dan Elliot shot out of his mind down there! :yike:

It was a fun shoot as always. It was a really easy set up all targets were close they didn't challenge the shooters much. Next year I hope they do more long shots challenge and test the shooters skills alittle more. They have in years past so i'm not sure what happened this year.
