Late May, in a heavy snow year.  The most beautiful place on Earth!  I would happily take anybody up there--if you have the gumption to climb...

DeerSlayer, that is one fantastic video, and the Golden trout are beautiful.  Those small, land-locked mountain lakes end up with trout that are older, but stunted in growth, which is why the jaws are oversized (old geezers).  You have found a Treasure Lake!

   been there and done that but don't have any pics.  caught 2 goldens in one of the hunt lakes in n. Idaho in 1960.  it was a very nice trip.  caught lots of brookies in lots of places.  luv' em.  they are one of the trout I eat.    mike w
