why such a long barrel?? IIRC, 6.8 SPC does not get much added performance past a 18" barrel

I went with a 20" as recommended by bison armorys owner.

18-20 is a excellent length for hunting.

I've built two 6.8 spc's and a 308 AR all with bison barrels.  They are top notch, Ben produces a great product.  My next build is the spc sub sonic platform from bison.  Of all the barrels that I own these clean the easiest.
