WDFW Tribal Hunting Overview
« on: March 25, 2014, 04:56:52 PM »
The agenda for the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting scheduled for April 11th has been posted. One of the topics that will be addressed is tribal hunting. I'd really like to be there for this but it's my kids' spring break that week and we have plans that day. So if anyone can make it to that meeting, please take notes and report back here if you could. The meeting is in Olympia and will also cover the adoption of the new hunting seasons and rules for 2014.

Here is the agenda item for the Tribal hunting topic:

Quote
3:00 P.M.   16. Tribal Hunting Overview - Briefing
Department staff will provide an overview of tribal hunting, including important case law related to off-reservation hunting, the Department’s approach to coordinating with tribes, and an overview of various agreements the Department has with Tribes.
Staff Report: Nate Pamplin, Assistant Director, Wildlife Program

And a link for the entire agenda:

My wife told me to quit complaining about things  :bash: :bash: :bash: . Go to Olympia if you don't like the way things are going ,I know personally 2-3 of our legislators. I just might have to make a trip to the wet side :)

The presentation (like all commission presentations) will be on the WDFW website the day of the meeting, or shortly thereafter.
