Last year was March 1st in my area, this year they were still packing on March 15th and half of them still packing on the 21st. I think over the past few years I have figured out that they fall when they fall and not a minute before. I have pics on my game cams of them fighting last week, antlers locked just waiting to see them drop in the next frame.... but nothing.
Maybe this weekend I will find the matches to the three I found last week.
I think I have seen the match to one from last year in another thread. The pic of the antler looks just like the game camera pic of the guy I have packing it on private property. Gotta love your neighbors, I guess no trespassing only applies if you are there to enforce it.
