Sturgeon
« on: March 29, 2014, 04:06:52 PM »
Finally made it out for Sturgeon today. Pretty sure this will be the last weekend so I am thinkfull for great weather and good company!

The two pictured was a double. Take downs at the same time. I have never had that happen before.

The weather Looks a little more on the sunny side then when we were there yesterday. :chuckle:  No keepers for us, but two buddies caught there first sturgeon ever an 8 1/2 plus and the other one was over 9.  The third one we figured was around 11 when it jumped behind the boat, we fought it for 25 minutes and never could pull it to the boat to see it. Here are the pics of the two smaller ones

Nice fish, I hope I can get out sometime soon.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Here is one a friend caught from years gone by. This is when you could keep anything between 3 and 6 feet. Recognize the dam in the pic??
