Pumpkin Pie Cake

Pumpkin Pie Cake

1 Cup Sugar
1 can Pumpkin pie filling - 29oz
1 can Evaporated milk - 12oz
3 eggs
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Salt
1 Yellow cake mix - DRY
1 1/2 Cups Butter or margarine, melted ( 3 cubes)
1 cup Nuts, chopped

Cooking instructions for the oven:

1.  Mix together sugar, pumpkin, milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
2.  Pour into a preheated 12-inch Dutch Oven.
3.  Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
4.  Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over cake mix.
5.  Drizzle the butter evenly over the cake.
6.  Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

CHARCOAL RECOMENDATIONS:

Use 6 - 8 briquettes on the bottom and 12 to 14 on the top.  You may need to add fresh briquettes after 30 minutes.

HINTS:  You can uuse a 9 x 13 lightly greased baking dish in oven at home.

my wife just made me one the other day,except she uses spice cake ,man thats some good stuff....Good post :drool: :drool:
