I'll have to look to see how long of a drill bit+extension I have, but I may try to drill the hole out under the seat, all the way through, then silicone in a piece of PVC...and possibly, if it's the right size, have it go through and be the receiver for the plug out the stern. Just thinking out loud at this point...

fill the boat with water and see where/if it leaks out. :dunno: If it does not drain figure where and how you want it to, and make it so.

With the rain, it has filled and not leaked...which is "good," but I need (and know it) a way to get it out...plus get a cover on it. Just bought it a week ago, so still working through all this.

The original drain was just in from of the seat in the bottom. You can call Livingston and get the cover to install these. Its a plastic piesce that goes on the bottom and another on the top and screws together. they were fairly cheap when I ordered them.

These?

I still haven't grasped how these look on the boat. Is there anything on the bottom side of the boat, or just the hole coming through? I'm guessing the rounded part sits down in the groove in the bottom of the boat? Just worried about if my rollers on the trailer would interfere...

My Plugs are exactly those as well. I can try and take pics tomorrow sometime and post them if that helps any. Boat is currently at my folks since I am getting a trailer and only have so much room at my place.

Anyone have a picture yet? Still not quite grasping what it looks like installed. :)

Does it go on the very bottom or the side?

I found this picture online...but it looks different.

This thread has a couple other pictures. Although this is a 10' vs 14', mine essentially looks the same (minus drains).  http://www.thehulltruth.com/boats-sale-wanted/511138-10-livingston-skiff-massachusetts-600-a.html :)
