Depends on the area of the Cowiche unit. I like the unit but dad wants to get back into the Wenas area 342 we will see if the proposal for the Maloy rd passes.

What weapon? Cowiche is huge and there are elk but it will take a lot of scouting to determine where you want to hunt.

Cowiche is a good area that holds a lot of elk. However it also holds ALOT of road hunters

Lots of land to ride atvs on but you have to stay on the green dot roads, so same roads as you can drive your truck on, except they can get a little rough for a full size truck in some places.

Put in for the road access permits for disabled hunters. The book should be out in june. Otherwise as previously stated its bumper to bumper during modern.

I hunt cowiche modern and it's insane the amount of vehicles you see just out driving. There are side roads that give you a nice view of the lower areas and I've seen some smart older hunters park and watch for elk to be driven within shooting range.
