Taxidermy Help
« on: August 17, 2010, 08:30:28 AM »
Okay so I have a few things

1.  I drew the Entiat Tag this year and am looking for a Taxidermist...I am hoping for a nice sized buck!
2.  I am also going on my fist African Safari Sept. 2011.  I plan on shooting a Springbuck, Blesbok, Gemsbok and Kudu.  I am trying to budget for the trip and wondering if anyone would know approx. how much taxidermy would be for those animals.  Hoping to find one for the deer the African Plains game.

Any ideas/advise?

I sent you a PM, with some prices.

Good luck on your hunts.

ryanjake28,

It really depends on what you want done with your animals.  Do you want a mixture of pedestals, lifesize, shoulder mounts, 1/2 life size?  Do you want them all shoulder mounts?

I would probably do shoulder mounts on most.  With the possiblity of pedestal on the kudu and Gemsbok depending on the sizes if they would fit in the house!!
