Orcas island shrimping and bottomfishing

Headed up to orcas island the the southwest side.  Any helpful info on where to try for shrimp and how are the currents up there? Also wanted to try for the halibut or lingcod any help would be appreciated.

Did you get my PM before? Looks like you could access McArther and Hein Bank its about a 20mi run from SW side of Orcas. Travel S through the San Juan Channel. Iceburg pt. Is just N of McArthur Bank and its a well known shrimping area. It looks like the S tip of San Juan Is has a nice fishy looking bank on it as well. PM me I'll try to dig up some more info.
