Patrick McManus Comedies, Ruger Rifles, an Crab!
« on: May 13, 2014, 05:38:23 PM »
In Creston we have an annual Community Days Celebration and I thought I would let you all in on the fun!

For the last couple of years our firefighters and EMTs have tried to keep people to town and also bring more in for a better celebration for all ages with entertainment, mini motocross, a beer garden and such.  We also do this in hopes to make a little money for things like extrication tools, hence the raffles!!  This year I bought some of those big wheel trikes for adults.  I think that would be a blast on the mini motocross track!

We have two raffles this year-
1)  40# box of crab just brought back from Alaska.  For a donation of $20, you get six tickets or $5/each.
2)  Ruger rifle set.  1- .243 American and 1- 10/22 ( they go as a set).  For a donation of $20 you get one ticket in the drawing bucket.  This is the first time we have raffled off guns and it isn't going very well so far.  That means the chances of winning are REALLY good!

If you want tickets for the drawing you can PM me for paypal or mail info.  The drawing will be held on May 24th so I would need funds secured by the 23rd at the latest.  All paperwork on the firearms will go through a FFL dealer.  And you will be responsible for shipping or pick-up unless we can make other arrangements depending on the situation.

Here is our schedule and our adds-  If you have any questions or need entry forms for the run, parade, tractor show, or mini motocross let me know!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!!"
