Halibut — Time has been added to hook halibut during the season off the Washington southern coast. In 2014, Puget Sound recreational halibut anglers will be allowed to keep ling cod and Pacific cod caught while fishing for halibut in waters deeper than 120 feet.
Salmon — Summer/fall Chinook salmon returns to Puget Sound are expected to total nearly 283,000 fish. The ocean abundance of Columbia River coho is forecast to be about 964,000 fish — three times as many fish as last year's actual abundance.
Razor Clams — Razor clam digs began May 13, 2014 with tentative dates listed through June 1, 2014.
