Not too bad of a day.
« on: June 01, 2014, 02:36:15 PM »
Went down to Nisqually this morning for some crab, didnt to as well as we would have liked but were satisfied

Only ended up with 3 dungee's and 5 Red Rock between the two of us, but the King my buddy caught made up for it  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Dropped 4 pots at 6am, pulled them at 8 and had 3 legal Dungee's and 3 big rock crab. the place got crowded after we dropped our pots, had people setting on top of us, im not talking about 1 person, I mean we had 4  different people drop pots with in 20 yards of our pots, and there plenty of water to spread out in  :bash:

After we reset our pots we headed over to the south end of Anderson for some salmon fishing to kill time  :dunno:
Made a few drifts with a dart and caught a few flat fish, then my buddy hooked in to one and I watched him reel it up (was not fighting at all) and then I seen his line going away from the boat, I said " that aint no flounder you got there" and just as I said it, we saw the shine of a salmon  :yike:   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

I grabbed the net and after a short fight, it was in the boat  :fishin: :fishin: :fishin: :fishin:

Dusty was so stoked, it was his first King he has ever caught  :brew: :brew:

We made a few more drifts, checked our pots and moved back North after all 4 pots only produced 2 red rock crab keeps on a 2 hour soak  :dunno:

Tonight dinner will consist of Crab, Salmon, and Shrimp ( I caught on the last shrimping day)
