Got really lucky and drew the Quality bull tag  :IBCOOL: Now the ? is do you think they will still be in rut and would calling would work or would a cow call just work to stop a bull to look and give a shot?

2nd ? if you're not a good bull caller are you better off to just leave it alone and do a few cow calls?
I'm just so pumped it seems like it's forever to get here  :bash: :chuckle:

If your not a good caller , get a call and start practicing. I have a few Phelps calls and they are pretty easy to use.  Plus I.know Jason does calling seminars from time to time and is very helpful  you got plenty of time to practice still. I do it in my truck to and from work.  The elknut playbook and cd helps a lot too.

Practice the basic locate bugle. Hit the Ridge tops to locate then spot and stalk your way in close. Keep the thermals in your favor. Use the cow call if necessary to stop the bull. There will be plenty of action still in early October. Nice glass and good physical shape will really help with this unit. Good luck with your hunt.
