Stuck Axel Nut: Need a heavy duty breaker bar

It appears some numb nuts rattled the axle nut on my dodge ram 2500 and I've already broken two cheaper 1/2" breaker bars. I think the biggest issue is because I've had to step it up to a 3/4" adapter because the socket is 3/4 drive. Saltwaterhillbilly was over trying to help and his bad boy impact needs more air than my little compressor can give it. Tried heat and didn't budge.

I'm in Marysville,if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

I rented a 3/4'' drive torque wrench. Maybe that could be an option in your area. I borrowed a breaker bar and would help if you were closer.

If you have room to use a 3 " cut off wheel harbor freight electric cut off tool slice , grind the nut almost to the threads. Using a cold chisel and hammer some heat , then strike the nut in the counter clock position. One of the best penetrant  oils is 1/2 acetone and 1/2 ATF

How much heat did you give it?  I had to heat mine cherry red hot, use a 1/2 breaker bar with a 4 foot piece of pipe and my 270lb ars standing on it to get mine broke free. I ended up bending the head on my 1/2 breaker bar doing this btw. I would try to borrow a good 3/4 inch impact gun and try to run at least 120psi with 1/2 hose, it if you can.

Who ever put it on may have cross threaded it all the way on, gonna be tough getting it back out. Take back to who ever did it and let them deal with it if it was a tire store.

Then they can repair it, otherwise rent a quality breaker bar and slide a peice of pipe over it (4' to 5')

simple get a torch rig ,,get it red hot and off it will come ..make sure you re grease every thing when reassembling!

1994-2002 Replacement nut = Spicer 46085, Thread Size 1.125-18 in case you've reached this point...

Sorry been busy. Had a friend come over with a 1" drive 3ft long ratchet and she spun right off. Didn't get it cherry red but damn hot.

Saltwaterhilbilly Kyle is the man, he changed the hub out for me while i was at work.

There is a lot of metallurgical engineering involved in making axle components and I would think that heating any axle component "cherry red" is asking for trouble. If you can't get it off from heating it with a small propane torch, you better have a Plan B. Best plan is no heat at all. I've used the acetone/transmission fluid many times and found it to be a miracle cure for stuff like this.
