My Lab pup, 18 weeks, goes out and raids our Raspberry patch. He will pull at the berrys with his lips, if they pull off easy he eats them, if not, he lets go and moves on to the next one. Some years ago, we had another lab that did the same thing. Instinct takes some surprising turns sometimes.
