clamp on muzzle breaks?
« on: July 25, 2014, 06:51:51 PM »
I just saw an add on this forum for a clamp on muzzle break.    They look like they'd work fine to me.     :dunno: :dunno:

Any real world experience with them out there?

Thanks,

Dan

What size barrel and caliber are you searching for?

Are you talking about Witt Machine? I plan on trying one on my 26 Nosler

I don't remember the manufacturer.

I saw an ad banner on this forum a couple days ago and followed the link.

they looked like they do a quality machining job and use good stock material.....  But what do I know.

I thought it might be fun to try one.

I'd probably put one on my Save 111 7MM Mag.   The kick isn't overwhelming, but less is better....    :dunno: :dunno:

I've seen a few of the Witt Machine (that's the add on here) brakes before. If you give them good measurements then the brakes fit really well. The downside is that it will likely leave marks on your muzzle if you're worried about that. Just be sure that you have it on there tight or else it could end poorly! :o

I have a grizzly gun works grizzly clamp on brake for my 300 win mag.  I like it but they are huge and add weight.
