Skagit County Nooksack bulls
« on: September 05, 2007, 12:20:47 PM »
I guess the lady with the raffle elk tag whacked the 7x6 at the challenger road field the other day, I would of held off and went after one of the big boys up on the hill.  I have been videoing them now for about 2 weeks and have some footage of some real bruisers up there.  4 guys I know drew the Nooksack tags so Ive been looking for a few of them.  They all should get nice bulls.

which tags do your friends have? I wanted this tag soooo bad. I hope you can post pictures once your friends fill tags.

I was wondering why the herd in the upper field dissappeared. There was a big bull in that group last Wednesday. She probably harvested it.

The 6x6 was a lot bigger bull than the 7x6 she must not of had much time to hunt.  Once I fiqure out how to load some video on here I will.  Does anyone know how?  I have some footage of a dandy 7x7 and a real heavy 7x6 both up on the hill that we called in using cow calls.  2 friends drew the archery tags they are brothers.  One buddy drew the Muzzleloader tag and another guy I work with drew the rifle tag.  One of the archery guys went hunting with my buddy on Saturday and pasted on 4 bulls one was a real heavy 5x5.  Hopefully I can get out with him this weekend.  Keep ya posted.

I took these pictures on Friday, August 31 at the Challenger road field. This bull is a 6x7, is it the bull the raffle tag holder shot?

That looks like the one I seen last Wed too. With the exception of a poacher or indian, those animals have never been shot at before.

That bull there is bigger than the 7x6 that was hanging up there first, she may have shot that one.  I am not sure.  My friend that drew the archery tag with his brother, his brother shot his bull yesterday is was a 8x9 just a hog I was told.  I will post some pictures of it this weekend If I take some.
