Hey I'm a new member and this will be my first post. Just got a carbon spyder turbo and would like to get a quick look at the Hogg Father before actually ordering one. Been to Nock Point and Riverside Archery, both don't have much anything high end in stock. Asking for any recommendations on pro shops that might carry high end accessories such as Hogg, CBE, and MGB for trial/inspection?

Thanks much! :hello:

Lots of Hogg dealers around.  I just got the hoggfather a few months back.  I wish I had gone and looked at one first.  They are heavy as heck.  The lock for the wheel moves the wheel when you lock it.  It's also loud to lock and unlock.  For the cost it just seems very clunky.  The adjustments are horrible for windage.  There are lots of nice single pins for half the cost that probably out preform the Hogg father hands down.  And a quarter of the weight.

Seems like Cameron Hanes is a pretty good salesman  :chuckle:

From who did you purchase the bow? They should be able to give you a money-back guarantee to try the sight. Archery World down here will do that with all their sights, especially when you spend over $1K on a bow.

I'm in Kirkland and have a Hogg Father on my CST as well. Don't take everyone's opinion too seriously, after all, options are like a$$holes. Everyone has one. I love my hogg father, even though it does weigh 14 oz. and Cam didn't sell me on the set up, he just knows what quality equipment is as well.

If you want to check it out just shoot me a PM. I'm pretty busy during the week but could throw it in my truck and if you're in the area, stop by and check it out.

It was just a joke, Lojack  I'm a big Cameron Hanes fan.

And I would think that the dealer would let you try it when you spend over a grand on the bow, like Pman mentioned.

Me and my cousin picked up both our CST at Riverside in Mt Vernon. I'll give them a call and ask tomorrow if they'll do that. I'm on the fence about their service, my bow shoots well, but they didn't paper tune or anything. Also I called in a week ago asking about a hoyt ultra rest, Jason just told me it would be 169 quickly stating that they sell MAP (minimum ad price) while nock point offered the rest for only 129. Little weary about dishonesty... but i've heard nothing but good so I'll try them a few more times before making an opinion.

What do you guys think of my experience?

I have one and love it... Not near Bellevue but if your ever on the eastside of the mtns (Wenatchee) I'd meet up and show you it... Its a solid site and you won't be let down. Bowhunterssuperstore.com had the best price.
