Its a sail jelly fish. There were a ton of them that blew in on the last storm. They really are not a jelly fish but very close. The have small tentacles that are poisonous to plankton and thats what they feed on. They are harmless to humans.

type of jelly fish I think. there are billions of them off the coast, half are dead and the other half have those little sails up. just got back from Westport.should be lots more hitting the beaches soon
