From what I read, the fire is heading up Naneum canyon.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Treestands, trail cams, and cow tags all on the line. Do you know how far north it's burning?

In my neck of the woods it sounds like they will reevaluate all closures this week.  I really hope they start to open up the woods as hunting season is two weeks away.

I agree.  I understand safety but I mean were 2 weeks away from archery season.

drove all they way to scout the colockum today only to find the road was closed. Heard that part of the reserve caught fire and someone is scheduled to go up on Friday to investigate and possibly open up the rds again. Just fyi for the hunters hunting that unit.

So my question is if they don't open the roads what is everyone's backup plan on here?

Wonder how many guys are going to do the same thing?  All roads have been closed since the second week of this month
