good spots near spokane?

I'm new to hunting and want to start out with small game and I was wondering if anyone knows of good places to hunt turkey close to Spokane?

This is a big place and has lots of wildlife.  Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge http://www.fws.gov/littlependoreille/

Turkeys littered everywhere north of you in Stevens, Ferry & Pend O' County ... Colville is the turkey capital of Wa.

Turkey is not considered small game, if you want to start out with small game that would be rabbits, squirrel, etc.

Turkey is not considered small game, if you want to start out with small game that would be rabbits, squirrel, etc.

"Small game" license is required to hunt turkey's in Washington. Just saying  :)

Turkey is not considered small game, if you want to start out with small game that would be rabbits, squirrel, etc.
Actually it is small game, but not in season till the fall.
