Camping with my wifes cousins at Sol Duc hot springs soon. Any info on areas to drive around and look for critters? Bear or Elk? Thank you.

Plenty of National Forest land just west of Sol Duc campground and the park off 101.  Saw plenty of bear scat last month up high on FR29.  FR30 is also a good ride and takes you from 101 up to 112.  I haven't hunted the area but frequent it on my motorcycle.  Good food at the Hungry Bear Cafe on 101 if all else fails!  Have a nice time!
