Lots of National Forest land and timber company land. Most all the timber company land is open to walk-in hunting, just not driving. And lots of whitetails. Just make sure what you shoot is a Whitetail, because I've seen Mule Deer there, too.
Unit 124 and 117 are great areas! I hunt both and have been successful almost every year in one of those units. Lots of private land in 124 but if you drive around and ask some people might let you hunt.
