Bobcat
« on: December 09, 2008, 02:01:29 PM »
I shot a small bobcat yesterday. I was bird hunting and I saw it cross through an open patch about 100 yards out.  It climbed a tree and was sunning itself. By the time I came close enough I had come out of the tree and was sitting in the leaves.  I've seen a few before, but this is my first cat.
I was pretty excited. I don't imagine the opportunity will come up any time soon again.
Here's a pic.

Here's two more pics. I thought it had pretty good coloration.
