Heading out today to set up elk camp. We have pretty much been locked out of every area we have ever hunted archery so we are headed for newer grounds in hope to make good memories. I've been down to the general area we are headed over 5 years ago. Didn't know as much back then and it was during modern. Been constantly looking over maps of the areas due to lack of time to scout because of work schedules. Have a great idea of where I wanna be. Can't wait. Whether an elk drops or not it will be a memorable experience being to spend another trip with my brother and dad.
Good luck everyone

I get to live at camp all year so guess I am ready. I have been seeing lots of elk and hoping to see them in the morning. We have 18 rigs coming in today for elk hunting.
