Chuck Roast for dinner!
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:05:21 PM »
BBQ'd a Chuckie for dinner tonight on the Rec-Tec.  I cook these up just like a Brisket and ask myself why I waste my time with expensive Briskets every time I do one of these.  The only thing I really do different is that I foil at 160 IT with 12 ounces of a home made broth called 9 hour shroom sauce.

Pulled at 160 IT

Added Shroom Sauce and foiled

Pulled at probe tender 208 IT and pulled roast apart for serving.

Man WC that looks good. I also like the cheaper cuts of meat to try. Love making a cheap ones look/taset good and hate making an expensive one look/taset bad. :chuckle:
