barametric pressure ??

I see there are trail cams that along with time, date, moon phase, there are some with barometric pressure.
How does one use this feature? Pressure changes with altitude. Not very comparable with airport gauges.

BP and Altitude do work together but if a weather system comes in the BP will change.

So I would assume that is why they have that fetcher just one more key to tell you why animals are moving.
