Sight question
« on: September 07, 2014, 05:04:05 PM »
So I just bought a Williams peep sight for my wife's CVA Wolf and was just reading that the factory front sight is the wrong size. Has anyone else noticed this and what size did you get to fix it? Thanks for any help.

make it easier on yourself. Get a pop bottle and cut 2 plastic shims, install under the rear sight, screw it down snug. Done.

I think the front sites on the cva are too short. I bought one that was  .485" high I believe.

you mean to tall. A tall sight makes your gun shoot low. A low sight makes it shoot high. I actually shot my optima today and now that i swapped to the 348gr flat point powerbelt, I had to adjust my williams ramp sight over quite a bit. Its still solid but I will shim that up later down the road.
