first year of elk hunting HELP

This is my first year elk hunting I'm going to the dry side I need some help with what works best for tracking calling them in ect. Any hints or tips will be greatly appreciated

More info would be required before "good" help can be given. Where on the dry side (general area)? What weapon? Have you done any scouting? All info would allow for better help to be given. I am not an elk hunter but I know that seasons will dictate tactics as well as weather and elevation, knowledge of the area, hunter numbers in the area and a bunch of other things. A little more info may get you better help  :twocents:.

I'm hunting elk area 2033 with modern firearm I haven't been able to scout it out yet but it just opened a few days ago I'm headed up this weekend. Any information will be greatly appreciated
